Dear Santa…

1 Dec

December the 1st – time to eat a tiny chocolate every morning and test my willpower trying not to rip all the cardboard off and eat 25 chocolates at once. It’s also the time to start getting hysterical because neither the Chap or my mother will tell me what they want for Christmas. Never mind working out what to get his family apart from a framed selfie of me having a panic attack over it. I’m utterly rubbish at presents so I really need all the help I can get. The only thing I do know is what I would buy myself if my bank account didn’t hate me. And it might give you some ideas if you know any short arses who like cats, shouting and wine.

Hair and Beauty

Nail Stuff
YSL Rouge Dada nail polish, topcoat from Revlon, emery boards and the best hand cream I’ve ever used, Aveeno. A friend of mine with eczema says it’s the one thing that helps.

Hair stuff
Nioxin shampoo, conditioner and treatment for thicker hair, volumising sticky Small Talk stuff from Tigi and the most AMAZING hair oil ever, Mythic Oil from L’Oréal.

Face Stuff

Garnier Moisture Match mattifying (not a word) moisturiser, 17 Miracle Matte foundation in soft ivory – this is the only thing I can find pale enough for my skin and it stays on forever, and because SPOTS! Boots Natural Collection concealer.

Eye Stuff
Ahhhh eyebrows. My favourite thing. Eylure Dybrow (see what they did there?) is great. You’re only supposed to leave it on for two minutes. I do 40. Boots used to do an amazing eyebrow pencil but then it got all waxy so I have moved on to Rimmel in black. I love Maxfactor’s False Lash Effect mascara, and sometimes shovel on a load of Bourjois Liner Stylo if I am feeling like going back to my goth phase.

I am quite excited to try this RapidBrow enhancement serum to see if I can become Cara Delevingne. I am always sceptical about stuff like this but EYEBROWS.

Lip Stuff
Looking through my make up bag I’ve suddenly realised all my lipstick is Rimmel. And basically all Kate Moss. It’s actually very good – not clumpy, doesn’t rub off easily and doesn’t bleed much. My new favourite is the far left, Kate Matte 107 which is quite a deep plum colour, my favourite proper red is Lasting Finish 22 and I’m going to have to try the new bright pink Kate Moss lipstick as they seem to have stopped making my favourite one.

I’m a size 10 if anyone cares.
